Jiangxi Institute of Biological products was established in 1969. Its original name is Shanghai Institute of Biological Products, Jiangxi Branch. The institute has produced biological products for more than 30 years. Its system was changed to company limited in 2002.Now it is an office under Shenzhen Jinruifeng Development Co., Ltd. (Group). Under the attention and support of local government, it is a modernized medicine and chemical enterprise of realizing the organic combination of optimizing of industry construction and risk investment. Now it is the largest high-tech enterprise for specially producing and researching antitoxins and immune sera in China.

　　The institute is located in Ji’an, the Jinggang mountains. There are a Jing-Jiu railway and a Gan-Yue express highway through Ji’an. Ji’an is at a distance from the Jinggangshan airport for half an hour. The traffic is very accessible. The institute has an area of 278 mu(1 mu=0.0667 hectares). Its registered capital is RMB 20 million yuan. The total asset is RMB 36 million yuan. The area of factory building is 20 thousand square metres. There are an old and a new sites. The new address is in Jiangxi Ji’an High-Tech Development Zone. The part of new address has constructed the workshop for producing biological products meeting GMP standard and the largest experiment animal center in Jiangxi. The old address is in Laohugang, Jizhou, Ji’an, Jiangxi. The part of old address has the workshop for producing food additives and medical disinfectants meeting the requirements of trade standard.

　　The institute mainly manages tetanus antitoxin (immunoglobulin) and concurrently manages chemical products, such as chlorine dioxidc, povidone iodine and intensified glutaraldehyde, etc. The production capacity of tetanus antitoxin is the first place in China. The product won the title of Excellent New product by the province in 1998,the New Product Gold Prize by the Southeast Asia Chamber of ? Commerce in 2001,and the Excellent New Product Gold Cup by the Seventh Asean Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2002.

　　The institute pays special attention to the introduction and use of talented personnel. It has trained a team of higher quality management and technical personnel, equipped with a series of modernized pharmaceutical hardwares and first-calss water system for process, air conditioning purification system , supplying of heat and cold system, and computer management system, introduced large-size pharmaceutical equipments, such as import ultrafilters, gearing machines for washing, drying, filling and sealing, and multiple effect distilled water machines, and adopted the advanced preparation process for protein digestion, separation and purification.
